The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.

SASSA will likely be rendering solutions including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed in regards to the large amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated SRD Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The service position established for intervention encounters a superior inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for the office to attend click here to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to permit the servicing of all consumers and enhance entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
